At only eighteen years old, Ava already has over seven years of teaching experience and a loyal roster of students who she coaches on a weekly basis.

Ava has been fortunate enough to learn from some of the most seasoned instructors and performers in the world. She believes it is her experiences as a student, and her understanding of what it's like to be one, which has made her such a successful teacher for students of all ages in the Lower Mainland.

Under the direction of Mr. Fred Safaei, the highly respected artistic director and piano department lead at Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd., Ava is currently studying the Royal Conservatory of Music syllabi in aim of receiving her advanced pedagogy certificate. Ava is also training under Professors Cathy Burnett, Stephen Heatley, Stephen Malloy and Gayle Murphy as she pursues her B.F.A in Acting Degree at the University of British Columbia.

Ava looks forward to upgrading her status as an instructor, and will continue to teach acting, piano, violin, and voice to enthuasiastic performers as a member of the teacher-in-training program at Ava Music & Art Centre Ltd.

Lesson Length
30 minute or 45 minute private lessons
1 hour group lessons

I teach a variety of students, but the majority of them are in the beginner to intermediate level. Some choose to play for fun, while others are currently training for the Grade 3 RCM Examination. I am pleased to offer lessons to students of all ages.
